Yoga at school
Often students feel distracted, restless or anxious. They are lacking an understanding of their emotions and thoughts, which makes it a difficult time for them.

I remember my secondary school time as difficult.
The peer pressure, school tasks, parents who do not seem to understand you, and emotions that can be so sudden, intense and overwhelming.
No one told me how to come back to myself, relax and feel trust in myself.
That is what I want to give every student. A moment where they experience what breathing, stretching, and being with yourself does to your own state of mind.

A calm and relaxed mind is needed so that new information learned in school can be processed and stored. A relaxed mind is also increasing creativity and mental and emotional well-being.
Yoga is not available for every teenager. Thus school yoga is a good way to introduce them to the practice of yoga.
